GIVING TREE Program tags are now available at Lemont Township, 1115 Warner Avenue, and at the Lemont Park District Core. To donate to this program that will assist the less fortunate in our community Gift Cards (Target/Kohls $25) or a check payable to Lemont Township (notate 'Giving Tree'), needs to be returned to Lemont Township, 1115 Warner Ave., Lemont, IL by December 11, 2020. Non-Perishable Food Items/Supply Donations can be left in the vestibule between the doors at 1115 Warner Ave. 24/7 (Please make food pantry monetary donations out to Lemont Food Pantry. Checks can be mailed directly to the pantries. We will forward any left at the Township.)

The Lemont Food Pantries at Bethany Lutheran Church and Lemont United Methodist Church, supply food to Lemont residents in need. In order to certify to utilize the pantries, please call Deborah Schmitt, Human Service Director, at Lemont Township 630-257-2522, ext. 19.
To continue assisting families in our community, the Food Pantries accept donations such as: canned vegetables, soups, fruits, and tuna, as well as macaroni & cheese, spaghetti sauce, peanut butter & jelly, and toilet paper. (Please, no expired food items.) They are especially in need of: Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, Personal Supplies, Coffee, & Laundry Detergent.
All donations are appreciated and may be dropped off at the Township Office, 1115 Warner Ave., M-F 9am -4pm. Donation bins are also located at the Lemont Park District Core, the Heritage Corridor Business Alliance Office, and after 11/16/19-at the Lemont Public Library.
Donations also can be dropped off at the pantries directly: Bethany Lutheran Church, 500 Lemont St., Lemont (630-257-7953) and Lemont United Methodist Church, 25 W. Custer, Lemont (630-257-5210) during their Open Hours: Tues., Wed., & Thurs. between 9:30 am - 12:30 p.m.
